A CONFERENCE for businesses in Stockton takes place this week.
Stockton Primary Care Trust (PCT) has organised the Workplace Health Conference on Thursday, at the University of Durham's Queen's Campus, between 9am and 12.30pm.
The conference is free to businesses in Stockton and will be opened by Dr Toks Sangawana, director of public health for Stockton.
It will be addressed by Elaine Rodger, of the North-East Regional Assembly, and Pam Cooper, head of health promotion for the PCT.
Other speakers include representatives of the Health and Safety Executive and local businesses, who will share their experiences of health issues in the workplace, including smoking, drugs, skin care and rehabilitation.
