In the other match against North Yorkshire, again in the Region One Inter-Counties Championship there was a first for Diane Littlewood, affectionately known as 'Dinky', when she made four wins. She was joined by Dawn Small, who also made four wins, to help the Durham Ladies to a four points victory.
Durham A beat North Yorkshire 28-16 with four wins from four matches from Chris Bowran, Simon Baker and Trevor Walton. The Durham B team went down by 20-24, whilst the Ladies won 24-20.
