BATTLE lines are being drawn-up on Teesside.
Regiments of warriors and serried rows of soldiers are preparing to fight in Stockton this weekend.
But the combatants are no more than model armies, with their sights set on raising as much money as possible for the charity, Mobility International.
The annual table top clash, called Parade Ground, was first launched by two disabled wargaming enthusiasts David Clemmet and Tom Davidson, 22 years ago.
It is taking place at the Stockton Sports Centre, on the Tilery estate on Saturday from 10am to 3.30pm.
There will be 12 wargames, and 40 retailers and model manufacturers exhibiting at the show, which began as a fundraiser in The International Year of the Disabled.
Local government officer Mr Clemmet said: "We reached a milestone last year. The total we have raised to date topped £10,000 - now it's on to the next milestone.''
He said one of the wargames which will be played on Saturday had featured in a recent issue of a hobby magazine.
