A last minute goal from Martin Frost saw Stanley Masons Arms SC to their first win of the season against Stanley RAFA.
And, to make matters worse, the RAFA had a player sent off and Masons lost a player requiring hospital treatment.
Low Fell Jolly Miller entertained Stanley Royal who had a right Royal day when they won 6-0 to maintain their push for league honours. Mark Drake scored twice along with Brian Nelson, David Turner, Mark Pattison and Gary Johnson.
Felling Mulberry, after a good start, have come unstuck over the last couple of weeks and suffered another defeat against new league leaders Grange Villa WMC who won 4-2. Felling's goals were both scored by Andrew Elliott with the Villa's winners netted by Eugene Morgan (2), Marc Ward and Ian Pinchen.
Washington Oasis lost 3-1 at the hands of Pelton Crown Inn. Washington scored through Ross Fryer with the Crown's goals scored by two-goal Stephen Cameron (2) and Veteran defender Darren Murphy.
In the Bev Haggett Cup, Gateshead Black Bull lost out 4-2 to the South Moor Sports.
The Bull can count themselves unlucky at half time with the score at 1-1, having missed several good chances.
South Moor took the lead with a David Craig goal before the Bull levelled with a penalty just before half time from James Janson and Chris McGee got their other.
South Moor however held the upperhand and Craig scored a second along with goals from Rhys Tomlinson and Steven Green.
In the County Sunday Cup, Pelton Fell WMC played Coundon Conservative club in a game postponed from last week and lost 6-1 with the effort coming from Daniel Bankhead.
