North-East Premier League Northern Division: Esporta Sunderland opened up a gap of five points at the top of the Northern Division following their whitewash of David Lloyd at the Leisure Centre, Thornaby.
Even without their highest ranked player, the youthful quartet of brothers Sean and Guy Galpin, Ainsley Kershaw and Nathan Lundy were far too strong for the home team who, after a promising start to the season, now stand seventh out of eight in the table.
