The only game played in the Premier Division saw the bottom two clash.
Chester Garden Farm travelled to Fishburn WMC both clubs with only one point each. The score was 1-1 with John Sexton scoring for the visitors and Michael Antropik got the equaliser.
In the First Division both leaders Chilton and Durham City Wmc were involved in cup ties so Brandon Bay Horse took the opportunity to close the gap on those two sides to four points with a very hard fought 4-1 win at Belmont Sportsman's Arms.
Bottom club Hetton New Inn continue to show improved form as they held visitors Coxhoe wmc to a 2-2 home draw. Craig Bunker and Steven Medd netting.
In the Second Division Washington Dunlop Tyres moved into top spot with a fine 5-3 win at Newton Aycliffe wmc Terry Fagan (2), Gary McCartney (2) and Dave Pybus scoring, William Davies (2) and Andy Ryder replying for the Aycliffe men. The much improved Kelloe wmc moved into third spot with 6-5 win at the Jovial Monk, Gary Turton (2), Ron Cairns (2) and one each for Andy Soppitt and brother Micheal. Ferryhill Wmc maintained fourth spot with a hard fought home win over visitors Houghton Mill All Stars, Paul Robson hitting both goals. Kev Johnson replying for the Mill Men.
In the Third Division Keith Rutherford was on top form for leaders Bearpark wmc as they were comfortable 6-2 winners over visitors Waterhouses, Rutherford hitting four plus a goal each for Lee Wilkinson and Mark Welsh. Honest Boy maintained third in a very entertaining game against visitors Belmont wmc. The home side won 4-3, Peter Cooper, Gary Oliver, Nev Caffery and Gary Thirwell scoring, Paul McVittee, Kevin Harker and Owen Flattley replying.
Brandon Sports were 3-2 winners at Birtley William thanks to goals from Andy Johnson (2) and Ian Richards. Top marksman of the day was John Liddle; he hit five in Pittington fc's 6-3 win at Durham Coach and Eight, Damien Foster adding the sixth. In the Fourth Division leaders Lumley Snooker crashed to a 3-1 defeat at Esh Winning Cricket Club. Mark Kirkup hitting two plus one from Neil Heslop was enough to give the Cricketers the points. A hat-trick from Steve Holmes plus one each for Ian Brown and Andy Wilkinson gave West Rainton Greyhound a 5-1 home win over Pelton Fleece.
In the KJM Embriodey League Cup holders Fatfield North Biddick easily progressed into the next round beating visitors Sunderland Lakeside 6-1 Derek Trueman hitting four and Lee Cosgrove adding a further two goals. New Herrington wmc beat visistors Lumley Fc 6-3. A goal from Tony Daggert was not enough as the Burnmoor Dunn Cow were beaten 3-1 at Sherburn Lambton Arms. Last season's runners Brandon United cruised into the next round winning 8-0 at Bede Lodge, Tony Hanson hitting a hat-trick, Andy Morris adding two and one each for Trevor Ball, John Harrison and Dave Fort. The closest game of the day saw Sedgefield St Edmunds just beat visitors Esh Winning McKenna's 4-3, Steve Flockett, Mike Pittam, James Duddin and Martin Lower for the home side Aaron Scott (2) and Jason Heslop replying. In the Lasertech Trophy, Houghton Glendale were 9-0 home winners over the Coach and Horses from Birtley.
In the Durham City AFC Supporters Trophy Chester Horner's crashed to a heavy 4-0 defeat at Gilesgate Moor Hotel, Craig McManus and John West hitting two goals each.
In the Racing Promotions Trophy Chilton wmc progressed into the next round beating visistors Durham City Wmc 3-0. Witton Gilbert wmc beat Byers Green Wmc5-4. And Hetton Lyons Cricket Club beat Burnmoor Cricket Club 5-0.
