Darlington Archdeacons' good run was brought to an end when they went down to the odd goal of five to Hurworth Emerson Arms.
In what turned out to be a nip and tuck encounter, Emerson took their chances early on to go two up with 'Deacon coming back to level before half time through James Howlett then Ian Thompson who chased a loose ball to beat the keeper to it and slot home, the decider came midway through the second half. Emerson scorers were Neil Bell with a brace and Chris Liddle.
Tindale WMC remained unbeaten when they picked up the points against Darlington Travellers Rest, after a close competitive first half Tindale led 2-0 with goals from Paul Foster and Gary Whittaker, as the game wore on in the second, fitness started to tell and Tindale added a further three without reply, first through Lee Foster then subs Billy Latcham and Paul Wyner.
Once again Darlington Dalesman had keeper Steve Madden to thank as they went down 3-0 to Darlington The Mowden, only a Scott Hodgson goal separated the sides at the break, in the second half Mowden's dominance told as Robert Smith and Ritchie Dodsworth added to the score.
Lee Hammond topped the days scoring when he notched eight in Darlington Stadias' nine three defeat of Darlington Skerne Park, the odd one was scored by Gavin O'Neil, David Elsdon and a pair for Dean Pearson replied for Skerne Park.
Chilton Community College scrapped home 4-3 in a tight game with Darlington GSOB.
* Prior to the kick-off all clubs held a minute silence in respect of Paul Adamson who had died during the week. The League pass on its condolences to his wife and family.
