AN arts centre is celebrating the work of artists over the past year with an exhibition.
The Old School Arts Workshop, in Middleham, North Yorkshire, is holding an exhibition of paintings from eight invited artists.
Recent works by Josie Bezant, Daphne Chandler, Julian Chapman, Laurence Cutting, Mary Farnell, Ann Jasper, Ian Scott Massie and Ruth Rowland will feature in the exhibition, which opened this week and runs until Christmas Eve.
Peter Hibbard, from the workshop, said: "The paintings encompass a wide range of techniques and styles, so the exhibition promises to bring our gallery year to a close with a burst of exciting colour and a plethora of stimulating images.
"The exhibition recognises another successful year's work by eight talented artists living within our local region."
The workshop is open from 10am to 5pm except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
