THE internationally re-nowned behavioural specialist, Bill Rogers, will be a guest speaker at a national conference in the North-East next month.
The consultant and author is making a rare visit to the country to attend Sunderland's Conference on Promoting Positive Behaviour, which will be held at the Regus Centre on Wednesday, December 3.
Special education needs advisory teacher Helen Irving said: "Bill Rogers is renowned for advocating practical and common sense approaches to behaviour management when teachers, governors and the community are determining policy for their schools."
The cost of the conference, to include lunch and refreshments, is £90 to Sunderland Local Education Authority employees and £120 to those employed elsewhere.
