BIG BROTHER star Jonny Regan joined up with his old workmates yesterday to help promote a fire station calendar that is already selling like hot cakes.
The former firefighter had agreed to be featured in the pin-up fund raising calendar, the brain child of his former colleagues in Peterlee, east Durham.
With the calendar now in print and flying off the shelves at County Durham outlets, the celebrity - who is Mr November and the "coverboy" for the glossy publication - returned to his one time workplace to boost the sale of the last few remaining copies.
The calendar also includes pictures of other handsome members of Peterlee and Seaham fire stations including sub-officer Ian Ferguson, who posed with his border collie puppy, Merck, for the month of August, with his faithful young pal also featuring for a lone shot for October.
Ian who described himself as one of the "two old guys" in the calendar said: "It is all good clean fun, there is nothing smutty."
He said: "We are delighted Jonny could take the time out from his busy schedule to come back to Peterlee station."
Ian also revealed that the majority of the 6,000 print run of the calendar has now sold, with only about 800 copies remaining on offer.
"It is a limited edition and once the ones left are sold that will be it," he said.
The calendar, is expected to raise £16,000 for local charities with the lion's share going to Hartlepool Hospice and the local Firemen's Benevolent Fund.
Jonny Regan, who enjoyed meeting up with his close pals, will shortly be on stage at Newcastle's Theatre Royal in the pantomime Peter Pan.
