COMMUNITY groups in Stockton have the chance to receive advice on how to improve their areas.
The Stockton Residents and Community Groups Association and Action Team for Jobs, will be in Wellington Square Shopping Centre today between 6pm and 8pm.
Members of the team will give advice on how to obtain funding for projects as well as getting information on employment.
People will also be encouraged to write down their community wishes so they can be put on a Christmas wishing tree. All wishes placed on the tree will be entered into a free prize draw.
The association has a drop-in centre in Dovecot Street for volunteers who work in Stockton.
It provides support, advice, free use of computers, stationery, printing and support through its dedicated team of development workers and resource staff, including two who will be at the centre today.
