Crook Town Ladies: Crook once again Crook Town had a brilliant away win to put them joint second on points.
Playing against Killingworth, Nicky Duckling opened the scoring after ten minutes when she took a pass from Amanda Carver and baffled their defence with her clever footwork. Sarah Carter got number two with an absolutely brilliant lob from 20 yards out, the keeper had no chance. Great team work up front between Duckling and Kelly Rushworth gave Kelly number three.
Crook absolutely dominated the game, every player played well. Since again Duckling started the second half with a superb goalfollowed shortly with one more from Rushworth (no 5).
Killy fired a great shot into the corner of the net that a train could not have stopped. But unfazed Crook came straight back.
Grat team work and a pass through to Duckling from Amanda Dodds gave Nicky her hat-trick. Killy got a second goal from a rebound. They tried time and time again to break through Crook's defence, Bay Burn, Gemma Gibson, Vicky Ireland and Amanda Dodds, but did not stand a chance.
Kirsty Finlayson took a free kick from just outside the box and shot in number seven to make the final score 7-2 to Crook.
Crook are away to Carlisle on November Sunday. Carlisle are top of the league at present, but are four games ahead.

South Durham Royals
The Under-12s' first match saw goals from Vicky Wray, Jade White, Phoebe Temple, Amy Fletcher, Kelly Gibson, Fiona Cantwell, Lauren Rickens lead to a resounding victory over Consett Badgers.
Their second match was a much closer affair with Consett Blackfyne competing for every ball. Royals were always the better footballing side and goals from Vicky Wray, Fiona Cantwell and Kelly Gibson giving them a 3-0 victory.
The Under-13 started their match with Simply Lasses well with Rebecca Toppin scoring with a left foot strike after five minutes. Simply Lasses competed well but Rebecca Pattinson made it 2-0 and Vicky Wray got on the end of a fine passing move to make it 3-0.
The Simply keeper made some class saves but the second half saw Royals take command of the game. Alex Saunders and Jade White looked very comfortable in defence, Calli Hogarth and Helen Morrison went into midfield and linked up with Rebecca Toppin to provide striker Holly Taylor with the ball to slot past the keeper to make it 4-0.
Royals again changed the side around with Toppin moving to defence and Vicky Wray and Rebecca Pattinson switching to the left side and passing the ball around with ease for Pattinson to get her second goal of the game to make it 5-0. Helen Morrison put through a perfectly weighted pass to striker Holly Taylor to execute the final goal of the game to make it 6-0. A mention for Royals keeper Steph Hartley who again had a clean sheet and a first class performance. A well deserved win for Royals who take on Stockton West End in the semi-final of the cup on Sunday.
Royals Ladies travelled to Durham City for their league match looking for their sixth win in a row. Last week they had an impressive 1-0 win in the cup against the much fancied Carlisle side. Royals scored after 35 minutes when Sarah Flatman converted a pass from Tracey Swales. Seven minutes later Tracey swung the ball into the net from a left foot shot to make it 2-0. Royals were always the better side and came close to scoring on several occasions. Durham were awarded a penalty in the second half but the shot was hit over the bar. Final score 2-0 to Royals who are away this week to Chester-le-Street.
