PUPILS showed their parents what they have learned about the culture of India.
Youngsters in years five and six at Bullion Lane Primary School, Chester-le-Street, have been studying different aspects of Indian life.
They invited members of their families to school to share their knowledge. They showed them a variety of activities, including traditional dancing, Indian cooking, tie dye, mehendi (a form of prayer) and block printing.
