New County North Durham Youth League: One game was played in the Under-16 section and South Moor went nap at home to Rutherford ending 5-1 winners. Mark McKinney bagged a brace of goals for South Moor.
In the Under-16 League Shield Ryton ended 4-2 in front of Cleveland Hall when Chris Hall and James Carr both scored twice.
In the Edward Wanless Cup Leam Rangers progressed at the expense of Blaydon. John Sherlock, Lee Turnbull, David Hall and Lee Harris earned Leam Rangers a 4-2 victory with Carl Ryan and Liam Bell replying.
In the Under-17 division Winlaton Promotion won 3-2 at Birtley and Cleveland Hall just had the edge over Red House winning by the odd goal in three. Liam Docherty scored twice for Cleveland Hall with Michael Hawthorne on target for the visitors.
In the Under-17 Division League Cup Blackfyne went through 4-3 at home to Beamish and Cowgate defeated South Moor 2-1 following extra time. Andrew Bullford and Adam Blair netted for Cowgate with Paul Henderson the scorer of the South Moor goal.
Chris Wilson and George Whitfield each scored twice as Redheugh also made the next stage with a 7-2 victory over Consett.

Chester-le-Street are now four points ahead of New Hartley following their 6-0 victory at West Denton. Chris Laws was undoubtedly man of the match as he scored all six goals.
Apollo Doors Gateshead Youth League
Leam Rangers Y have a four point lead in the Under-11 division. They were without a game at the weekend when nearest rivals Low Fell M could only draw 2-2 with Beamish. They have played two games more than Leam Rangers Y, while Low Fell C, who have the same number of points as their neighbours Low Fell M, have played one fixture more than the leaders.
In the Under-12 section Redheugh have a commanding nine points advantage at the top of the table. They romped to an 8-0 victory at Blaydon when Ross Heslop rifled a hat-trick and Gordon Hutchinson bagged a brace of goals.
Two goals by Philip Foster earned Felling a 3-1 win at Leam Rangers and Consett won 3-2 visiting Prudhoe.
In the Under-13 division Leam Rangers Y are one points ahead of Chopwell. They hammered Consett 9-0 when both Dean Martin and Scott Anderson scored four times.
Washington Oxclose were another side to win by a 9-0 margin when they visited Blaydon and Nicky Jose scored on no fewer than seven occasions.
Leam Rangers G and Chopwell drew 2-2 and Whickham Fellside Reds defeated Redheugh 8-2 when Thomas Yeman, Elliott Miller and Kane Swaddle all scored twice.
Cleveland Hall defeated Low Fell by the odd goal in three, Blackfyne finished 3-2 in front of Rutherford and Winlaton won 3-0 at Swalwell when Scott Ruddick scored twice.
At Under-14 level Cleveland Hall and Redheugh are neck and neck with 19 points from seven games.
Cleveland Hall defeated Low Fell C 9-0 when David Hubbard hit a hat-trick and Redheugh also won 9-0 at home to Winlaton. Adam Hewitt and Thomas Berj each bagged a brace of goals.
Top individual performance in the Under-14 section was by Michael Wass who scored six in Consett's 7-1 defeat of Leam Rangers.
In the Under-15 section Redheugh are out in front nine points ahead of Cleveland Hall, the sides both having played the same number of games. Redheugh were involved in the only league match of the weekend and they defeated Cleveland Hall 2-0 when Carl Dodds scored twice.
In the Charlie Thomas Under-15 Memorial Trophy Tony Rutter scored all four goals as South Moor ended 4-1 in front of Consett and Beamish defeated Leam Rangers 3-2.
