A POLICE hunt has been mounted at Scarborough after two staff at the resort's Hollywood Plaza Cinema were threatened by armed raiders.
A police spokesman saids one member of the staff had arrived to open the cinema, in North Marine Road, and was confronted by two men who were already in the building. He was threatened at gun point and told to hand over keys.
Minutes later another employee arrived who was also threatened.
The two raiders escaped with what police described as a large amount of cash but the staff were unhurt but badly shaken.
