Michael Pitt continued his devastating start to the season with yet another hat-trick as leaders Lanchester Social collected another three points.

In Division Three there was a hard-earned 2-1 home win for Medomsley Miners Arms when they came up against the Smelters Arms. Graham Muirhead and Michael Johnson goals were the deciding factor with the Smelters replying through Gary Raine.
Hamsteels continue to struggle with a Steve Hutchinson goal all they could muster as they lost out 7-1 at home to Delves United who produced a four-goal haul from Steve McCabe and others from Ron Foster, Kevin Reay and John Hester.
Sean Wilson scored twice as Horse & Groom beat the Hat & Feather 4-1. Brothers Derek and Mark Emery were also on the scoresheet with Craig Nichol managing a consolation goal for the visitors.
In the Jack Grigg Cup, Stateside won by the odd goal in five at the Ball Alley.
Darren Scarr and Paul Balmer scored for the home team with two-goal Thomas Bushby and Andrew Elliott the Stateside match winners.
Scotch Arms saw off the Smiths Arms 4-1 with Stan Thompson scorinmg twice. David Miller and Kevin Townenet got the other two goals with Andrew Cleghorn replying.
In the Abbey Trophy semi-final, Black Horse lost 2-1 at home to Shaftoes.
