Crook Ladies League
Two of the teams from Billy Row stole the headlines last week. Billy Row Green A team became the first team in the lower half of the table to record a maximum win, a feat they achieved when they whitewashed their hosts at Tow Law North Point. Billy Row Green were the other team to hit the high spots when they made their biggest victory of the season when they only dropped two points on their visit to Billy Row Green B.
The leading individual scorers were Dorothy Storey 160 for the Travellers Rest, Joy McKay 145 for Billy Row Green A, Bryanna Glennie 140 for the Queen's Head A, Brenda Robinson 140 and Val Readman 135 for the Victoria and Liz Gardiner 120 for the Queen's Head B.
Crook Queen's Head A lead the table with their unbeaten record putting them seven points ahead of Crook Jelly's Bar B with a match in hand. The Victoria Club are in third place, eighteen points adrift of Jelly's.
