Heighington 3 Hole in the Wall 2: Wall took the lead midway through the first half when Gary Wilson fired home from the edge of the box.
They made it two seven minutes before the break when Jeff Coates capitalised on defensive hesitancy to win the ball and net his first of the season. Four minutes later Heighington pegged one back with an excellent finish into the roof of the net. The equaliser arrived on the hour mark and a remarkable comeback was completed with what turned out to be the winner two minutes later. Heighington's scorers were Man of the Match Andrew Etherington, Steven Galloway and Steven Odle whilst Martin Bell on his debut was Wall's best player.
Fox & Hounds 1 Shuttle & Loom 3
Carl Lamb was Fox's scorer in a game which saw Shuttle's win take them up to third place in the table.
K'hall Arms 2, East End WMC 3
Killie led 2-1 at the interval with goals from man of the match Phil Rennolds and Sean Rochford but the Clubmen earned a share of the points with goals from Aaron Radstock and Mark Maddison.
Darlington Charity Cup
Once again the League's representatives fared badly in an outside cup competition although Newton Aycliffe deserved nothing but praise as they only succumbed to Durham Alliance League champions Coxhoe Athletic 1-0.
Barnard Castle fought all the way against Teesside League opponents Cleveland Bridge but were well beaten 9-2 whilst League leaders Ferryhill Greyhound lost 4-2 to opposition from the same league Richmond Mavericks. The Grey Horse v DGSOB tie was postponed when Horse were unable to field a team because of the unavailability of 9 players.
