A MIX of curry, beans, custard and gravy was tipped over two students in the name of charity.
Kellie McGraw, 16, and Craig Brudenell, 18, both A-level students at Bede College, Billingham, sat in a bath of the gunk for hours.
They raised more than £200 for Children in Need and are still collecting money.
The noxious brew was made by kitchen staff who used curry, salad cream, tuna and spinach as part of the concoction.
The beans and custard was donated by the town's supermarkets, Tesco and Asda, and the bath by Dove Building Supplies
Kellie said: "It was worse than I thought. It was freezing cold and the smell of all those different foods together was horrible, but I'm glad it raised so much for Children in Need."
