A CHARITY calendar featuring photographs taken by our readers has gone on sale.
The 2004 CD-sized calendar contains 12 images from the Great North Photography Competition, run by The Northern Echo and the Darlington and Stockton Times.
It costs £5, with five per cent of sales going to St Teresa's Hospice, in Darlington.
The Northern Echo's digital media editor, Sheelagh Caygill, said: "We held the Great North Photography Competition this summer and it was a great success. The calendar showcases the best photographs entered into the competition and provides images of some of the most scenic spots around the region."
The calendar can be bought online at www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk or at our Darlington, Northallerton, Durham, Bishop Auckland and Redcar offices.
Alternatively, send an SAE and a cheque or postal order for £5.70 (which includes p&p) made payable to Newsquest (North East) Ltd to Calendar 2004, The Media Factory, PO Box 14, Priestgate, Darlington DL1 1NF.
