A DRIVER involved in a crash which killed two people had his case adjourned.
Stephen Dack, of Walker, Newcastle, admits aggravated vehicle taking and driving while disqualified.
Dack, who is deaf and without speech, required someone to sign for him during his appearance at Teesside Crown Court yesterday.
He had been due to be sentenced but his case was postponed until December 22 because a psychiatric and neurological report was not ready. He was granted unconditional bail.
Irene Stephenson, 57, a pedestrian, and Sarah Thompson, 88, a passenger in another car, died in the crash on the A67, near Darlington, last December. Both victims lived in the Darlington area.
