KARAOKE queen Lorraine Westray is looking forward to performing for the people who helped her set up in business.
Lorraine, of Chester-le-Street, established Unique Karaoke with support from the Chester-le-Street Action Team for Jobs, part of JobCentre Plus.
Her first Christmas party will be the team's free festive event for the area's unemployed on Friday, between 6.30pm and 9pm, in Bullion Hall.
The 35-year-old said: "This is one of my first Christmas parties and I am really looking forward to it.
"I was delighted to go back and help the Action Team because they really helped me kick start my business."
