A SCHOOLBOY will be singing the hits of pop star Robbie Williams in a fundraising concert at Skelton Civic Hall tomorrow.
Richard Hart, 15, will be joined by local bands Hellbound and Bles to raise money for the Daniel Moutrey Fund, a charity set up by the parents of the former Freeborough pupil who died last year.
Its fundraising efforts support children suffering from leukaemia.
Richard said: "I've never performed in front of a big audience before, but I've done Robbie songs in the karaoke before and I'm sure I'll be all right."
Councillor Dave McLuckie, chairman of the Skelton Single Regeneration Budget, which is funding the event, said: "We think this is a great idea - good music for a good cause."
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7pm, are £1 and available from the Microcafe at Skelton Youth Centre or at the door.
