Bishop Auckland field their sixth keeper of the season when promotion chasing Leek Town visit Dean Street in the UniBond League First Division this afternoon, writes Ray Simpson.
Bishops boss Brian Honour has signed keeper Marc Riches from Whitby, and he will take over from Kevin Duncan this afternoon.
"We've been looking for an experienced keeper for most of the season," said Honour.
"I know what Marc's capable of, because I've worked with him before - when we were both at Durham.
"He was a major factor when we reached the semi finals of the Vase, and I rate him as one of the best in non-league football in this area."
Honour has also been given a boost by the news that he will have a full squad to choose from, a real luxury for the manager this season.
In the Premier Division Spennymoor head to Barrow looking to close the gap on the top seven.
Manager Tony Lee said: "Barrow are really going for promotion just like we are, so we are expecting a really tough game.
"If we were to win, then we'll only be a couple of points behind them."
Lee gives new keeper Ashley Connor, signed on a month's loan from Harrogate, his debut, while centre half Andy Bowes returns.
Whitby, beaten in the FA Trophy in midweek are at home to Lancaster City, and have flu doubts over Jock Williams and Lee Ure, while defender Brian Linighan is injured.
