PUPILS from Reid Street Primary School, in Darlington, are counting on the success of a fundraising drive to provide them with a number games library.
The youngsters have been working since May to develop and make games that they can then take home on an evening or at the weekend.
Their efforts have been given a boost with a Name the Spotty Dog competition, which raised £100, and a donation of more than £200 from Woolworths.
Abbey National and Cummins each donated £100 and the school's parent-teacher association has given £200.
The library will be launched in January and offer games which help children develop maths skills.
