YOUNG and old joined together for a play exploring the attitudes of different generations.
Pupils from Carmel Technology College, in Darlington, and members of Growing Older Living in Darlington (Gold) presented the play on Saturday.
Lesley Compson, Gold community development worker, said: "We approached the school about doing a play together and a group of pupils were really keen.
"One of the students, Danielle Jones, then wrote the play and the pupils and our members acted in it. It's brilliant, really funny, and has really changed how each group thinks about the other."
The play was performed at Gold's Christmas party at the Darlington Memorial Hospital social club, on Saturday.
