CHILDREN from two schools have united to perform a pantomime.
The seven to 11-year-olds from Bowesfield Lane Primary and St Cuthbert's RC Primary, both in Parkfield, Stockton, will perform Puss in Boots.
It is the first production by the children since their after-school drama club, the Parkfield Primary Players, received a £4,500 National Lottery grant.
The drama club has invested some of the money on improving their stage and buying a lights and sound system.
The youngsters, who meet once a week throughout the year, have also recently enjoyed a trip to Robin Hood's Bay on the North Yorkshire coast.
A spokesman for Bowesfield Lane Primary School said that the drama club's productions, which includes children from both the Parkfield area's schools, are held at Bowesfield Lane Primary School.
The first performance will be held tonight at 6.30pm and another show will be held tomorrow. Tickets cost £2 and are available at Bowesfield Lane Primary School.
