CHILDREN, teachers and parents all have designs on making the most of their school.
Linthorpe Junior School, Middlesbrough, is hosting an exhibition on innovative ways of making the best use of school display areas.
The project has been developed by design students at the University of Teesside and Middlesbrough Arts Development, looking at corridors and awkward spaces. Headteacher Lyn Newton, said: "This really is a Changing Rooms for schools initiative, and the students have come up with some superb and realistic ideas.''
Twenty other schools are working on similar projects. The exhibition was opened by Middlesbrough director of education Terry Redmayne.
