Breakfast cereal producer Weetabix posted a 14 per cent rise in full-year profits ahead of its proposed takeover by a US private equity group.
The manufacturer, based in Northampton, said trading in its shares would cease on January 29, which would mark the completion of its £654m sale to Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst.
