A RAFFLE of hand-made quilts has raised almost £3,000 for St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington.
The quilts were made by the Middleham and Teesdale quilters and hospice volunteer Doreen Sayers.
Hospice director Jane Bradshaw said: "What is so wonderful about these quilts is the many hours of work that has gone into each one. They are a real labour of love and we are so grateful to all the ladies for their efforts."
