A POWER company has announced that it is planning to almost double in size in the New Year.
Professional Power Electronics Services Ltd (PPE), based in Stokesley, only started in business four years ago but is already diversifying and planning to move to new headquarters.
An investment from UK Steel Enterprise (UKSE), the subsidiary of Corus that supports new and growing businesses in steel areas, is helping PPE to expand.
The company's expertise in the installation, maintenance and testing of uninterrupted power supply systems, which are vital to many industries and services, has attracted customers from around the UK.
The company already counts Norwich Union, Manchester and Newcastle airports, Siemens, BP Visqueen, Gateshead Borough Council and a number of universities in the region among its customers.
PPE works closely with its clients, carrying out an analysis of their needs, then providing a tailored solution.
The company employs 16 people but expects to almost double the size of its workforce during next year.
