A MAN tried to abduct a ten-year-old girl in daylight yesterday morning.
The girl was said to have been walking along Burnsville Road, in Grangetown, Middlesbrough when a man got out of small, red car and grabbed her arm.
Luckily, a woman was passing by, so the man let the girl go.

The child ran off along Argyll Road and made her way to school. She was unharmed.
Police are asking anyone who was in the Burnsville or Argyll Road area at about 8.30am to come forward.
