On Sunday the Durham under-21 team took the long drive to the return leg of their match with Worcestershire. Due to unavailability and illness Durham could only put out a small team that included two 15-year-olds in Scott Carnell and Ruth Mackenzie, both of Durham City.
However, the team rose to the occasion and managed to take a point off the strengthened Worcs team that had lost at Durham. The final score was 8-7 in favour of Worcs but the score reflected well on the Durham team.
The rest of the team consisted of: Duncan and Adam Coulson (Sunderland), Ian Lambert (Washington), Kamilla Patel (Washington), Haley Robson (Cleadon) and Kirsty Whitehouse, (Hartlepool).
