Middlesbrough star Franck Queudrue presented trophies to the winners of the Community Cup, Middlesbrough Football Community Centre's football competition for primary schools.
Seventy-six teams from all over Teesside took part in this year's competition over four days.
The winners, The Avenue School in Nunthorpe, qualified for the regional final with the chance to go forward to the national final, which will be played before this season's Carling Cup final at Cardiff.
The Avenue beat Pallister Park School 3-0 in the final, thanks to the help of three of Boro's Academy players, John Robson, Danny Johnson and Tom Conroy.
The Avenue beat Crooksbarn of Norton in their semi-final, while Pallister Park scored a golden goal against St Peter's of South Bank to win through to the final.
Organiser Jim Platt, the former Boro goalkeeper, said: "The tournament was again a huge success, attracting a record number of teams from throughout the area.
"There were some very good teams this year, so the competition was tougher than ever, but the Avenue were certainly deserved winners. They played some excellent football.
"We're grateful to Franck for giving up his time to come along and present the trophy and prizes to the winning team."
