Cleveland Bridge, moved level on points with Pepper Draughting Services at the top of the league but with a game in hand and the only 100 per cent record in all three divisions.
They are now looking in a strong position for the top spot and it was the Bridge who totally dominated the game when they visited The Hole In The Wall.
Four goals each for Wayne Buckley and Trenton Hewitt and a hat-trick from man of the match Adam Wilson, and one a piece from Philip Sheridan and Michael Dutton, saw the visitors hit 13 and for all their efforts only a consolation goal from Darren Scott, was all the home side could reply with to give Cleveland Bridge a 13-1 victory.
In the only other game to take place in the second division it was an understrength Middleton St. George side who took on Royal British Legion but they still managed to control the game, with first half goals from man of the match Mark Brischuck, goal of the game from John Sunter with an impressive 30 yard strike and the in form Michael Cairns adding another to his tally for the season. In the second 45 minutes it was MSG who had the majority of the possession but were unable to find the net again and it was some poor defending by the home side which allowed the Legion to pull a goal back when Trevor Cooke fired home to make the final score 3-1 to the home side.
