Hebburn Reyrolle went out of the Durham County Trophy losing 4-0 away to Coxhoe Athletic.
The Reyrolle forward line were unable to trouble Coxhoe's defence who have only conceded four goals in open play this season. Coxhoe were in front after five minutes, Andrew Richardson moved down the right, hit the ball into the goal area for Gary Turton to finish off. A solo effort from Lee Thistlewaite on 25 minutes gave Coxhoe a 2-0 lead in the first half. In the second period, Dean Smithson hit the third on 50 minutes then Gary O'Hara made it 4-0 from a penalty kick in 80 minutes.
Brandon Prince Bishops, holders of the County Trophy beat Simonside SC 4-1 in the quarter-final. A penalty by David Dickinson 25 minutes and a close range effort by David Fort had the Bishops 2-0 up in the first half. Steve Gibson pulled a goal back for Simonside on 55 minutes, then another two goals from Graham Stobbs on 60 and Stephen Graham in 80 minutes made it 4-1 to Brandon.
Hartlepool Town were knocked out of the competition by neighbours Hartlepool FC,
A penalty by Lee Hagan after ten minutes put Hartlepool FC in front. From then on The Town pressed on for an equaliser and were rewarded in the 84th minute when Geoff Cooper headed home from a right wing cross to make it 1-1 after 90 minutes. Five minutes into the second period of extra time Hay for Hartlepool FC hit the golden goal to put them through to the semi-final.
The fourth quarter final was won by Shildon Railway who beat Whitehill FC 2-1.
In the League Belford House increased their lead at the top to four points, Andrew Dugdale and Kenneth Taylor scoring the goals in their 2-1 win at home to Durham University.
Birtley Town Reserves went down 7-0 at home to Durham City Reserves. Barry Cook hit five goals from a sparkling display. Lee Butler and John Scott added to Durham's tally.
Seaham Town earned the three points against Durham Victoria Bridge, the only goal scored for the Town was a penalty by Ross Pinder in the 25th minute.
Seaham Mallard were outplayed in their home match going down 5-1 against Gateshead A. The Mallard were in front on 15 minutes, Johnathan Reynoldson scoring with a 25-yard free kick. Okiko levelled with a header on 35 minutes then Peacock put Gateshead in front with a volley from 25yards. Further goals came in the second half from D Snowdon, S Fallon and Chris Callan to make it 5-1.
