A CAMPAIGN encouraging people living near schools in Darlington to be more vigilant against vandalism and theft is to be launched in the New Year.
School Watch will ask residents and pupils to report suspicious activity around the buildings to police.
The campaign will be promoted with leaflets featuring a logo designed by pupils from the town's Haughton Community School.
Year seven pupils Emily Harkin and Caroline Harrison won Art Shop gift vouchers for their entries, which were presented to them by police community support officer John Angus.
