CHANGES to refuse collection from wheelie bins in the borough of Stockton have been announced over the festive season.
Collections due on Christmas Eve remain the same, but Christmas Day collections will now be on Saturday. Boxing Day refuse will be collected next Monday.
Collections on Tuesday, December 30 and New Year's Eve remain the same.
Bins due to be emptied on New Year's Day will now be collected on Friday, January 2 and bins due to be emptied on that date will be collected on Saturday, January 3.
Refuse collections will return to normal from Tuesday, January 6.
There is also a one-day collection service for the disposal of real Christmas trees.
People are asked to place their trees outside the boundary of their property on Monday, January 12, and Stockton Borough Council will dispose of them.
