THE winning streak shows no sign of abating for lucky Lotto mum Debbie Sawyer - even the weather is on her side.
A few years ago she hit the national headlines when her work syndicate scooped almost £1m on the National Lottery.
To make the joy even more complete, she discovered the good news while she was enjoying her wedding reception.
Now she's proved herself a winner again, after picking the winner in a charity balloon release.
More than 400 balloons were launched from the Coppergate Centre, in York, a few weeks ago to raise money for Caroline's Rainbow Foundation.
The charity was set up by Caroline Stuttle's mother Marjorie after her daughter was killed in a fall from a bridge in Australia during a gap-year and is designed to help others planning a year out between school and university.
With the help of a following wind, Debbie's chosen balloon travelled by far the furthest - ending up in Poland.
"I like to support the foundation as Caroline was a member of our Rainbows group and used to babysit for us from time to time," said Debbie. "I can't believe the balloon didn't pop before reaching Poland."
She is donating her £50 prize money to the intensive care unit at York District Hospital, where her father-in-law recently died.
Her husband Steve, who is the lead singer with a local band called Stealer, said: "She is the luckiest woman I've ever met."
