COMMUNICATIONS company Cardew has opened an office at one of the region's newest business parks.
Cardew Communications Ltd, a retailer of BT products and services, has taken office space in the refurbished Lingfield House, on the Lingfield Point business park, in Darlington.
Former BT employee Mike Cardew will employ six sales staff, servicing about 15,000 BT customers in the Darlington and York areas, across a range of products.
Mr Cardew said: "Cardew Communications is part of BT Local Business, which aims to offer small and medium-sized businesses the opportunity to work with a local company backed by the resources and products of a national brand.
"Our new office in Lingfield House is ideally situated for the areas we service, and, hopefully, we can also work with other tenants on site to ensure their telecommunication requirements are fully met."
Eddie Humphries, Lingfield Point estate manager, said: "We are delighted that another new business has chosen Lingfield Point. Cardew Communications is a welcome addition to our portfolio of tenants and we wish Mike and his team a very successful future."
