A MODEL who caused a stir when her bare bottom appeared on a pub sign is ending the year with a role in a film, two shows on Sky TV and a bar of her own.

Tanya Robinson, of Richmond, North Yorkshire, shot to fame when she won FHM's High Street Honeys competition, prompting The Fleece pub to change its names to Tanya's Charms.

However, following complaints, the pub reverted to its former name within a week.

By March, regulars were rooting for Tanya when she competed in FHM and Sky TV's Bikini Heaven contest, a televised Pop Idol-style competition in which the winner was chosen by viewers and readers from around the world.

Tanya was third, but offers of modelling and television work began to flood in.

The former Orange employee hired an agent and soon had a part as a kick-boxer in the film Double Zero, to be released next year and a role in a television advertisement, as well as working as a presenter on Sky TVs Kitten Olympics and Go Nation. She has also been approached to play Cleopatra in a film next year.

Tanya has maintained her links with Richmond, buying the Quench, in the town's Rosemary Lane, and relaunching it as Bar 88 in October, where she spends most weekends pulling pints for her customers.
