PARENTS and children are improving their maths together.
A course run by Stockton Borough Council's adult education service at Bader Primary School is part of the family learning scheme in which children and parents learn numerical skills..
Parents spend one morning a week with tutor Anne Walker.
Julie McGee, council family literacy and numeracy curriculum manager, said: "The parents are delighted with their progress and feel they have improved in confidence and ability in maths.
"It is also lots of fun. The children love seeing their parents back in school and helping them in very practical ways with their maths."
