A NURSERY is celebrating after receiving national accreditation.
The Just Learning nursery, in Ingleby Barwick, has been given Quality Counts accreditation by the National Day Nurseries Association.
The association is dedicated to the provision and promotion of high-quality care and education for children.
Quality Counts is regarded as one of the toughest quality assurance schemes and is based on external assessment and self-assessment.
Nursery manager Lynsey Williams said: "This award marks us out as one of the top nurseries in the area.
"There was a lot of hard work involved for all the staff in working towards this accreditation and it is a tribute to their professionalism and dedication.
"We are absolutely delighted that the nursery has been recognised in this way. It is a reflection of the high standards of care and education provided by the nursery and can only enhance our already strong local reputation."
