Only four games were played on Sunday but significantly Killinghall Arms went to the top of division one after a 6-3 victory away to the Shuttle and Loom.
Newton Aycliffe Sports Club kept up the pressure at the top of the table with a 6-1 victory bottom side AFC Brinkburn, although they only trail Hurworth Albion and Brinkburn Wanderers on goal difference.
In Division Three the improving Smith and Allan recorded 4-1 away victory against Haughton, while the Cricketers put three more points on the board as they closed the gap on their visitors Drinkfield United with a hard fought 1-0 victory.
