Darlington goalkeeper Andy Collett is facing more frustration on the sidelines after manager David Hodgson vowed to stick with current first-choice Michael Price.

Despite returning to training at the start of the month, Collett has failed to reclaim the goalkeeper's jersey from Price.

Second-bottom Quakers travel to Leyton Orient tomorrow with Newcastle-born stopper Price expected to continue.

Price, brought to the club as cover for Collett during the summer after he was released by Leicester City, has enjoyed an unexpected run in the team this season.

The 20-year-old made his debut in the Carling Cup win at Bradford in August and has gone on to make 18 appearances in Collett's absence.

And while Collett is now back in full training following a punctured lung, Hodgson has admitted the performances of Price have made it difficult to hand popular Collett a recall.

"Pricey has kept his place because he deserves to be there," said Hodgson. "A lot of people would probably have expected Colly to come straight back in but that would not be fair.

"It's a nice situation to have because now I know I have two goalkeepers who are capable of doing a good job for us."

Hodgson has no fresh injury worries ahead of tomorrow's clash as Quakers look for their first away win in the league since March 22 - a 1-0 success at Scunthorpe.

Hodgson may sacrifice a striker after using a three-pronged attack in the 1-1 draw at Carlisle.

Top scorer Barry Conlon will keep his place, partnering either on-loan forward Lee Matthews or Neil Wainwright in attack.

Clark Keltie and Gary Pearson are likely to remain on the bench.

The Os will hand a start to Tom Newey, who made seven appearances on loan with Quakers from Leeds last season.

"It's another big game and like every other it's one which we must win," said Hodgson.

"We've had a lot of chances to beat teams and it's time we started putting these chances away.

"We should have beaten Macclesfield and we could easily have nicked it at Carlisle."
