Neighbours Thirsk and Northallerton are battling to avoid relegation from Division One at the season's half-way stage.
Pateley Bridge are currently bottom with just 35 points while Thirsk are second bottom and Northallerton just one place above them. Both Northallerton and Thirsk are on 48 points.
Northallerton escape one of the drop spots thanks to a better rubbers' average than Thirsk.
Bedale have a three point advantage over nearest rivals Harrogate Squash II at the top of the division which has developed into a three-horse race with Wensleydale also well in the running.
In Division Two Wensleydale II are making a strong challenge to join their first team. They are currently second, four points behind leaders Harrogate Squash III. Boroughbridge are third, three points behind Wensleydale II.
In the Second Division relegation struggle Bedale III are in danger of swopping places with their fourth team who are currently second in Division Three.
