FRIENDS of a teenager who was killed during a gap-year trip to Australia raised money in her memory over Christmas.
Victoria Pool, 21, and Vicky Atkinson, 20, both from York, organised an auction and raffle which raised £1,600 for the Caroline Stuttle Rainbow Foundation.
Prizes included a signed Leeds United shirt and football.
The event was held at the Grapes pub, in York.
Ms Pool said: "We were friends with Caroline at school and we try and do as much as we can for her charity."
The charity was set up after Caroline, 19, was murdered while backpacking.
