Talented Michael Cutter is hoping to make a career out of his creative streak.
With the help of the Department of Work and Pensions New Deal Scheme, he is setting himself up as an artist.
Mr Cutter, 36, of Sunderland, has put together an exhibition of his work, including a pencil drawing of his eight-year-old daughter Bethany as a baby, which is on display at Sunderland Minster.
