Shareholders in air-filter maker McLeod Russel have been given an extra week to decide whether to approve a takeover of the group.
McLeod Russel, which has its headquarters in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, is considering a £28.1m offer from the SPX Corporation, in the US.
About 81 per cent of shareholders have already pledged to vote in favour of the takeover.
