A CHARITY that provides emergency accommodation for homeless people in Darlington is appealing for more volunteers.
Nightstop, based in Grange Road Baptist Church, needs people who can provide rooms for a homeless people for one night.
Anyone interested in volunteering will go through a police check and receive comprehensive training.
Most volunteers take in about 15 people, aged 16 to 25, a year, with referrals being made by agencies in the town, including social services or the First Stop charity.
